NYC Veggie Pride Parade – May 15, 2011.

NYC Veggie Parade.

The annual Veggie Pride Parade will be held on Sunday May 15, 2011 in Manhattan. The parade starts in the Meatpacking District and ends up in Union Square Park. The goals of this parade are to set a positive example by standing proud and standing up for the vegan lifestyle and to show our love for all animals, farmed animals included. Many issues will be discussed and meat eaters are more then welcome.

There will be vendors set up in Union Square Park handing out a little of everything. There will be delicious vegan baked goods for sale, animal sanctuaries explaining what they do, local vegan friendly restaurants and business will all be in the house or shall I say, park 😉
