City Kitties.

City Kitties is a non for profit organization that helps to feed, care for, rescue and adopt out, the stray and feral cats that roam the streets of West Philly. This is a cause I am super active with myself and I cannot even begin to explain the time, money, effort and patience it can and does take to get a cat off the streets. These people are saints, as are most people in animal rescue, I am not discounting anyone’s efforts ๐Ÿ™‚

Feral and stray street cats are the ultimate ‘throw away’ animals. They lurk in the shadows of alley ways and garbage cans, they battle the weather, each other and sick twisted humans that are out to cause them harm. People hate them simply because of the ‘bad’ things one associates a ‘stray’ cat with. Most of the time, they lead a very sad life that is completely and utterly heart breaking to witness ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

But every now and then a group of good people come together to help these nameless and faceless felines that live and die on the streets. The group of good people at City Kitties have rescued and adopted out 100’s of street cats and kittens. As any good rescue group does, the cats that are too wild to be adopted are spayed/neutered and put back in their habitat where they will be fed and monitored for the rest of their lives ๐Ÿ™‚

City Kittens accepts donations, volunteers and of course they are always looking for people to adopt and foster their feline rescues…
