Gunas is a Sanskirt word that means, ‘attributes and qualities of nature’. With that in mind, Gunas, the company was born. They set off to make  super lux vegan bags for the masses and yes, they bring it hard, for both men and women.

These designer bags are cruelty-free and eco-friendly as well as stylish and luxurious. You kind of can’t go wrong with a Gunas bag, they offer many different bag collections from travel to accessories. They truly got it all covered. Add to all that, their bags are sweat shop free as well.

Gunas bags are bags for people who love fashion but also love the planet and animals. Gunas bags are for people who don’t want to compromise. And no one should ever have to compromise their love of animals for their love of fashion 🙂 This progressive luxury company has also gotten props from PETA, ABC, NBC and TIME Magazine just to name a few.

Thanks, I just stumbled on your website and I like your blog and the neet products you find. I wanted to pose the question, though, can you really call vegan purses “eco-friendly”? Aren’t most synthetic leather purses made from vinyl, which is one of the most un eco-friendly materials? I know the meat industry is highly un-eco-friendly, but unfortunately faux leather isn’t much better from an ecological perspective. I’d say it’s the lesser of two evils.

Sure some are but most true ‘vegan’ purses are made from eco-friendly materials. Recycled polyester, recycled plastic bottles, plant based suedes and leathers eco friendly faux suedes from Italy. The materials companies are using these days are way beyond vinyl and PVC and as the market for cruelty free goods grows as does the fabric selection.
Plus at the end of the day, treated leather does not biodegrade and is just as toxic to the Earth as a pvc would be. It is being treated with chemicals to be made into what it is. So it’s even worse in my humble. Kill something then make a toxic product from it? It’s a lose lose.
