Do A 180.

22 Aug

180 Snacks are DELICIOUS. I simply adore these simple snacks that are not only all natural but also gluten-free, peanut free, wheat free, certified vegan and made in the USA. The company itself was started under a different name in 2004. They recently changed the same to 180 Snacks because the founder thinks it is time Americans did a 180 when it comes to their snack choices. He is right 😉

180 Snacks are these crunchy, puffy, nutty balls of goodness. Lightly sweetened and high in fiber they come in a few different flavors such as blueberry and almond as well as almond and cranberry. I personally came across them at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, which have now become my two favorite places to find unique vegan snacks. Who woulda thought, right?

Anyways keep your eyes open for 180 Snacks and try them if you see them. Word on the web is that they carry 180 at Costco. If you don’t come across them you can buy them off Amazon, I have attached the links below. Their website is giving me some beef so I attached another link to their product description etc… About 180 Snacks. Buy Them Off Amazon. Maybe You Will Have Better Luck With Their Website Then I Did.

Here are a few iron rich snacks my kids like to (or I wish they’d like to ) eat: pumpkin seeds (sometimes they’re more popular if you roast them for about 3-5 minutes at 350 degrees and sprinkle with salt) molasses (I mix a tablespoon in with soy or almond milk and call it Molly Milk) quinoa dried fruit cashew butter on tortillas If you serve an iron-rich snack paired with something having vitamin C, like oranges or strawberries or just fortified juice, then the iron will be absorbed better.
