Read This: Eat Vegan On $4 A Day. A Game Plan For The Budget Conscious Cook.

If I had a nickle for every time someone told me it was ‘too expensive’ to eat well then I would be a very rich woman blogging from my organic farm/animal sanctuary in Hawai’i. K’auai to be exact, thankyouverymuch but that is not that case so instead I will post this blog from humid ass NJ and keep on dreamin 😉 The good news is next time someone talks about it being too expensive to go veg then you can recommend they read this book, Eat Vegan On $4 A Day, A Game Plan For The Budget Conscious Cook. The title explains it all.

This book shows us how much more expensive it is to eat packaged foods, teaches us how to buy certain things in bulk (beans, grains) and how to cook things we like with these ingredients. Not only does this book show you how to save money in the kitchen, it also encourages a diet that can and will save your life. Win-Win. There are about 100 recipes in this book and the cost of things are broken down so you can really see how to eat vegan on $4 a day. Great idea, Great book. Check it out below…
