Frey Vineyards.

Frey Vineyards is America’s first organic winery and they also happen to be vegan friendly πŸ™‚ Founded in 1980, their mission has always been sustainability and a quality product. Frey offers over 25 different wines on their website and of course if you are ever in the Mendocino Valley of Northern California, you should surely stop by for a tasting.

Frey also offers a line of Biodynamic wine, this means that the 6 basic principals of Biodynamic farming are followed at all times. These principals include, organic certifications, careful use of the Earths soil and composting to name a few. Frey Vineyards knows that in order to get the best crops you must treat the Earth with respect. This is very important because we all know that farming does deplete the naturally occurring minerals in the soil, to be aware of that and to prevent the soil from becoming worthless is very important and quite proactive. Snaps to Frey on that.

If you can’t make it to Frey of course they can send it to you, unless you live in one of those states like I do where they cannot ship booze to you. In that case you will have to keep your eyes open for it the next time you hit up the LQ… Frey Vineyards Homepage.

I absolutely love Frey wine. When I went vegan I had a hard time finding vegan friendly wine, mainly because no one seemed to know what that meant. So when I found Frey I was thrilled that not only was it great, I never had to ask or wonder about any of the wines they offer πŸ™‚
