Love-A-Stray is a non-for-profit rescue group who focuses on helping homeless animals. They are not an actual animal shelter just a group of people who foster and adopt out these unwanted animals. They have tons of adoptable cats, kittens and some dogs and puppies as well. Love-A-Stray is currently in dire need of foster homes for their animals and cannot currently accept anymore cats or kittens until the ones they have found their forever homes.

Fostering a dog, cat, puppy or kitten is one of the most kindest things you could ever do. Some fosters only stay a week and some a bit longer, fostering is so important because it allows these rescue groups a free space so they can go and take another animal from death row or off the streets and bring them into the mix. When you foster a pet it comes with food, bowls and all the other goodies so there is a minimal monetary investment on your part, all you need to supply is a warm home and some good loving 🙂

Love-A-Stray hosts adoptions at Petco in Cleveland, Ohio, they post the dates on their website and if you are interested in meeting one of their adoptable animals then simply send them an email and they will arrange a meeting. If you are not in the position to adopt or foster an animal maybe a small donation is more your speed. We all know these are tough times for most people, especially those who are fighting the good fight for these homeless animals. There is no donation too small, even $5 is helpful, that could buy cat litter, some food or some toys and remember your donations are tax deductible. Love-A-Stray Homepage.
