Happy, Healthy And Vegan…For Over 5,000 Years.

21 Dec

You read that right, way up in the Himalayas there are a couple of villages full of Native Peoples who have and continue to sustain on a vegan diet only. The village of Beema is located at an altitude of 14,350. It is cold all year around and ridiculously freezing in the Winter time, this is where some of the 1,ooo or so Aryan tribes reside all year round for the past 5,000 years.

These people believe and live as if they are one with nature, they not only sustain off of the fruits of the Earth, they thrive. The Aryans have an ‘unusually’ high number of tribe members that are in their 70’s and even those well into their 90’s are healthy and active. The land they live on provides them with natural mineral water from the mountain streams, there are walnut, almond and apricot trees and fields full of grain. Their main grain staple is barley which they use to fortify their black tea since they do not use milk.

The Aryan people live in rock shelters, they take long treks to get places and they live in extreme conditions in the Himalayas. They are said to be happy, carefree people who love music and dance, they dress up in colorful clothing and adorn themselves with flowers. They sound to me like the coolest group of people who ever existed and they truly blow my mind.

So next time someone rags on you for being vegan, tells you that you will get sick, be weak and die please feel free to forward them the link I attached below 😉
