Classic, Clean and Cruelty Free.

When it comes to shaving cream Barbasol is easily one of the most recognizable brands on the selves. Not to mention one of the cheapest. Don’t ever let the price of this shaving cream fool you though, as an avid user I can say 1000% that Barbasol is one of the best shaving creams out there. The ingredients list is simple and to the point, their packaging is made of steel which is 100% recyclable and they do not and never have tested their shaving cream on animals ๐Ÿ™‚

Made in the USA since the 1920’s Barbasol prides themselves in being an All American company. They strive to keep their prices low and their quality high. In 1930 a tube of Barbasol would set you back 25 cents and today it hovers around $1.00 which is not much of a mark up in 80 years when you think about it. After all these years Barbasol is still the #1 shaving cream for me in America and 80% of men who use Barbasol to shave with do not use anything else.ย  On top of being made in America, Barbasol is also made from American made materials on American made equipment.

You can find Barbasol almost everywhere, so next time you are looking for a cruelty free shave don’t hesitate to grab the cheapest can on the rack. This is one product where price is not a reflection of quality and let’s be real, why does one need to pay any more than $1.50 for shaving cream anyways? Barbasol Homepage.

My Dad had a can and I tried it. This is the very first shaving cream that softened my beard so well that no nicks were made while shaving. Makes me enjoy shaving!

I used to use Noxzema “Sensitive Skin” shaving cream because it was the only one that didn’t give me skin rash. Found out they test on animals, though, so looked for something else. Barbasol was so inexpensive, I figured it would give me a skin rash too, but … it doesn’t! Probably because it has such a short list of ingredients … missing something that causes the rash. Double bonus! ๐Ÿ˜‰
