1- Briskly Walk It Off. If you have high blood pressure there is some relief in walking. Studies show that people who have hypertension and take regular brisk walks (no dilly dallying) can lower their top number of their blood pressure reading by up to 10 points. They also lower their bottom number by 6 points. The key to successfully walking it off is to do so vigorously, for a half and hour everyday. No excuses, just results.

Limit your intake of processed foods and restaurant meals which tend to be laden with salt.
