Kauai Nut Roasters.

Being that I am obsessed with most nuts, it was only natural that I would end up falling in love with Kauai Nut Roasters nuts when I was in Kauai. While picking up groceries at a local health store there I came across this bag of  ‘Coconut Crunch Almonds’. Yeah baby. And let me tell you they taste even better than they sound 😉

Started in 2004, Kauai Nut Roasters is a family run business that is located on the island of Kauai, Hawai’i. They have two retail shops on Kauai, one  in (the land of..) Hanalei, where ‘Puff The Magic Dragon’ resides and the second  store is in Poipu. All of their products are all natural, made with no added oils, no added fats and no dairy. So basically all the fat in these nut mixes comes from the actual nuts or in some cases the tasty coconut a top the nuts. This is rad because as we all know, the mono and poly saturated fats that naturally occur in nuts are super good for us.

Since Kauai Nut Roasters are the bomb, their packaging  is biodegradable and they make all of their products in Hawai’i. This is important to Hawai’i since the less they have to import the better off they are. Plus they have the perfect weather for food growing and by keeping business on the islands you keep people employed and prices down. Hawai’i hopes to be 100% self sustainable in the future and with companies like Kauai Nut Roasters showing people how it’s done, I have no doubt they will accomplish their goal 🙂 Even if you can’t make it to Kauai it is possible to bring the goodness of Kauai Nut Roasters to wherever you are with the help of their on-line store.

You’d Be Nuts Not To Try These Nuts.
