Endangered Species Chocolate.

10 Aug

Is there anything better than eating chocolate that is in turn helping to save the planets endangered species? I didn’t think so 🙂 Endangered Species Chocolate was started in Oregon back in 1993. What started as 12 types of chocolate has now grown to over 30 and they can be found all over the U.S.A. and Canada.

Endangered Species Chocolate makes all natural, ethically sourced and mostly organic chocolates. They work with the families who grow the cocoa beans to be sure that they are taken care of as well as their land. 10% of Endangered Species Chocolates go to fund species and habitat conservation of these endangered animals.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the ‘Organic Dark Chocolate Chip Mints’, the ‘Organic Dark Chocolate Bug Bites’ and the ‘Organic Milk Chocolate Bug Bites’. The first 2 are certified vegan, the milk chocolate is obviously not. The quality of this chocolate is top-notch and the taste is perfect. There was nothing fancy about the ones I tried they were just good chocolates that have a good cause. There are lots of different things you can order off their website from big boxes you can keep and home to gift baskets you can give to friends and co-workers.

Save A Life. Eat This Chocolate.
