Germs Be Gone.

21 Jul

As we all know our toothbrushes harbor tons of germs, they are actually one of the dirtiest things in your home believe it or not. The Center For Disease Control warns us that even after rinsing your toothbrush to the point where it appears clean, toothbrushes can remain contaminated with potentially pathogenic organisms. Gross. And since germs these days are way stronger and there are a lot more of them, it makes it hard to not be exposed to them.

I have seen a bunch of gadgets that use UV lights to kill germs on your toothbrush but honestly I don’t have the room for all that in my bathroom. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon these Dr. Tungs ‘Snap On Toothbrush Sanitizer’ and I have not looked back. Since I found them at Harmon, my toothbrushes have never been without them. These toothbrush sanitizer covers use only all natural ingredients to clean and sanitize your toothbrush. Made with oil from cloves, tea tree, lemon, thyme and peppermint, Dr. Tungs makes it easy to have a clean toothbrush every time you go to brush. The standard size fits most toothbrushes and there are no batteries required.

The best part about this FDA registered product is that after its 60 days of sanitizing are done, you can toss the plastic cover in the recycling and it will biodegrade in the landfill. No toxic plastic chemicals seeping into our soil and water. Each pack of Dr. Tungs comes with 2 snap on sanitizers and you can easily order them off the internet if you cannot find them at a retailer near you.

Clean Mouth, Clean Planet 😉
