Read This: The Big Book Of Vegetarian.

16 May

The Big Book Of Vegetarian is a nice sized book that is packed with easy to make vegetarian and vegan recipes. There is nothing too ‘ground breaking’ in this book recipe wise and that is precisely why I like it so much. Let’s face it, during the week who really has the time or energy to prepare an elaborate meal? I know I do not. This is what makes this cook book so great, the recipes are simple and use ingredients that most people already have at home. All in all this makes it a great book for carnies who are looking to inject a little veg into their lives.

The author, Ms. Kathy Farrell-Kingsley takes us straight to the point with this book. In it’s over 300 pages there are no pictures of the over 220 recipes she packed in there. I do not mind this since most of the recipes, you know what you are going to get. Plus I want the recipes not the pictures when it comes to making fast meals when I am tired and cranky. The Big Book of Vegetarian is great for the novice cooker, it does not overwhelm with scary vegan ingredients and crazy long preparations. You do not have to be a pro in the kitchen to cook everything this book has to offer, so for you newbies in the kitchen, this is your book.

The Big Book Of Vegetarian is the perfect everyday cookbook for everyday people.
