Be Sure To Use A Dark Chocolate With At Least 60% Cocoa Solids To Reap All Of The Natural antioxidant Properties.

This delicious treat gives you a double punch of antioxidants. Both dark chocolate and cherries are full of antioxidants and the pistachios and ginger round out this tasty holiday bark. This is an easy all natural, cholesterol free dessert to make for your holiday parties. If you use a dark chocolate that is made without milk added to the cocoa butter then this treat will be vegan friendly 😉

Holiday Fruit And Nut Bark.


– 3/4 Cup Dried Cherries (Look For Ones With No Sugar Added).

– 1/2 Cup Unsalted Pistachios.

– 1/4 Cup Chopped Cristialized Ginger.

– 7oz Dark Chocolate At Least 60-70% Cocoa Solids.


– Combine Cherries, pistachios, and ginger in a medium bowl, stirring well. Line baking sheet with heavy-duty foil and chill the pan.

– Place chocolate in a double boiler or a heat proof bowl, cook over simmering water until chocolate is melted, stirring frequently. Stir in half of fruit mixture, spread into prepared pan. Using a rubber spatula, spread chocolate mixture evenly into an 11x9inch rectangle. Immediately sprinkle the remaining fruit mixture evenly over top of the chocolate mixture. Chill for 15 minutes.

– Break into 10, 3 inch pieces and serve.


Nutrition Facts Per Piece: 190 Calories. 9 Grams Of Fat, 3 Grams Of Protein, 3 Grams Of Fiber, 18 Grams Of Sugar.


Pistachios Have The Least Calories Per Serving Out Of All Nuts.
