Animal tests are CRUEL

Do Not Support Animal Testing...Look For The Leaping Bunny ๐Ÿ˜‰

Seriously, because I am talking about on the back of your bath, beauty and household products, people. Animal testing is rampant. I mean nearly everything you use, from medicines to foundation to shaving cream, is all tested on animals. From rats to monkeys and dogs and horses, there is not an animal that is safe from the cruel practice of animal testing. Most will die in the labs from too many toxic injections ofย  junk like Botox, from being mutilated, or from starved to death. It’s so sad that animals are born just to be subjected to such harsh lifestyles.

I decided that I would no longer get down with anything tested on animals. This was a process, and it was pretty much step by step until I found my far superior replacements for everything from shampoo to laundry detergent. I cannot say that anything I own that is not tested on animals performs worse then the animal tested versions. Most actually even work better. Most of the products I now use are not ‘main stream’ products that are advertised 24-7, but are all easy enough to find. With the Leaping Bunny you too will be able to make smart, kind and compassionate decisions about your health, home and beauty products.

The Leaping Bunny program is designed to let the consumer know that a product was not tested on animals. In order for a company to be accepted into Leaping Bunny they must pledge that they do not and will not ever test their products on animals. This also means no animal ingredients are used in the making of their products. Kind of gross to know that animal content is in your make up and cleaning products huh? Their website has lots of information and allows you to see which companies are animal friendly. I suggest that you order the ‘Cruelty Free Shopping Guide’. It is free and it is full of stores and brands you can shop at with no guilt ๐Ÿ™‚

To me, being a vegetarian is more then what you eat, it is about the whole picture. Animals as a whole. If I do not want them to suffer for my consumption, then why would I want them to suffer for my ‘beauty’ and ‘cleanliness’? Nowadays, most brands are offering a ‘green version’ of their products which are mostly natural and not tested on animals. I urge you to simply turn the bottle around and look at the bottom. Most products that do not animal test are proud to say it and it WILL be mentioned. If it is not mentioned just look for the Leaping Bunny ๐Ÿ˜‰
